Before we were hit by the pandemic, I remembered the luxury that we had - the freedom to roam the streets and mingle with people from all walks of life.

It was a working day. My co-worker and I had just finished our lunch and was heading back to our office. On the way back, we stumbled upon a beggar on the street and my co-worker didn't hesitate to donate a small amount of money.

I was feeling curious that day. So I asked, "How many people can you help? There are so many people out there who are in need."

She replied, "Although we may not have the capacity to make a difference in the world. But we have the capacity to make a difference in a person's life."

Although the same words of wisdom isn't something new and has been circulating in the internet, however, her words that day resonated in me.

That's how I'm motivated to make a difference by helping random individuals who happen to cross my path.

Recently, a friend of mine had reached out to me, seeking for help and clarity.

From my point of view, the help that I had extended came naturally and was rather effortless.

But from her point of view, my help was huge.

A small help for a friend came back with a big return.

But the biggest return is seeing her happy.

To summarize my point, we can make a difference in the world. And we can start by making a difference in a single person. The efforts that may seem small to us, can be big for someone else. And this effort, I call it "Passion".
